Police in Belfast have issued a warning to parents after reports of a possible abduction attempt on two young children in the north of the city, reports Theresa Judge.
A man in his 30s approached two seven-year-olds in the New Lodge area and offered to take them to a playground in a different district at about 5 p.m. on Sunday. The children refused and he left, before returning later and approaching them again. The boy and girl alerted their parents and gave a description of the man to the police. He was said to have short ginger hair, and was driving a gold-coloured Renault car.
