Gaza City - Four Palestinian teenagers were injured by live Israeli gunfire yesterday in separate clashes in the Gaza Strip as another boy was declared dead two weeks after Israeli troops shot him on the West Bank, medical sources said.

Luay al-Tamimi (12) had been unconscious for two weeks after Israeli soldiers shot him in the head during clashes in the village of Deir Nizam north of Ramallah.

His death raises the toll from more than six months of violence to 464 fatalities, the vast majority of them Palestinians.

Clashes between Palestinian stone-throwers and Israeli troops flared around the Gaza Strip yesterday. Palestinian teenagers were hit by live bullets at two border crossings and a third was injured near the Kfar Darom Jewish settlement.
