Over 30,000 women, girls and sundry men pretending to be female joined in the Women's Mini Marathon on the streets of Dublin today.

The race was won by Pauline Curley from Co Offally in just over 34 minutes, although victory was far from the minds of the vast majority of those who participated.
Many of those running were raising money for charity in fancy dress.
The 10km run began at Fitzwilliam Square at 3.00 p.m, ending at St Stephen’s Green.

The route took in Northumberland Road, Merrion Road, Nutley Lane, Belfield Flyover, Stillorgan Road, Donnybrook, Morehampton Road, Leeson St Upr before finishing at the Green outside University Church.
