Denver - The second Oklahoma City bombing trial went to the jury yesterday after lawyers for Mr Terry Nichols launched a final fierce attack on the case against him.In closing arguments, defence lawyers said the prosecution's contention that it had an "avalanche of evidence" against Mr Nichols, showing he plotted the bombing with old army buddy Timothy McVeigh, was based on tainted and misinterpreted evidence. Last June McVeigh was sentenced to death for the devastating attack which killed 168 people in April 1995.
