Ronnie O'Sullivan and Paul Hunter both dazzled with whitewash victories in Preston tonight to set up a semi-final meeting at the Totesport Grand Prix.
It took O'Sullivan just one hour and 11 minutes to destroy Mark Selby 5-0 in his quarter-final, and Hunter was only eight minutes slower as he trounced Thailand's James Wattana.
Ominously for Hunter, title rival O'Sullivan produced his best performance of the week. His fourth win included two breaks of 135, plus further runs of 62 and 76.
Not surprisingly, O'Sullivan is now the 4-6 favourite to claim a £60,000 first prize on Sunday night.
