Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has appealed against his ban from the dressing-room for tomorrow night’s Champions League tie against Porto.

O'Neill was sent off in Celtic's 3-2 defeat to Juventus in Turin last week for comments made to match officials after a dubious last-minute penalty awarded to the hosts.

On Friday he was handed a one-match touchline and dressing-room ban by UEFA, football's European governing body, but confirmed today that Celtic had appealed against it to the Court for Arbitration in Sport.

O'Neill was particularly angry about the dressing-room aspect of the ban, claiming it was unprecedented.
