Irish stand-in captain Brian O'Driscoll has issued strong warning against complacency when Ireland face Fiji at Lansdowne Road on Sunday.
Denied some well-earned rest by injuries to other squad members, the Leinster centre, who led Ireland to a famous victory over Australia last Saturday, will find himself back on the front line this weekend.
The South Seas islanders visit Dublin looking to recover lost pride after succumbing to a 58-14 mauling at the hands of Wales in Cardiff last Saturday.
"I'm not worried about not resting," O'Driscoll said. "You play rugby to play internationals and it's Fiji this weekend. "A Test is a Test. You have to play as many as you possibly can. We like to think we are reasonable athletes and that our bodies can recover three weeks on the trot.
"We'll put the memories of last weekend behind us and we'll move on to another tough encounter against a very physical, very unpredictable side."
He added: "I think they didn't do themselves justice against Wales and they'll be looking to put that right. So we'll be waiting for a backlash.
"If we thought the Australian game was physical, the Fijians, Tongans and Samoans are all physical. We will wake up on Monday with a lot of bruises.
