Dublin - Serbia's southern province of Kosovo, which has a 90 per cent Albanian population, risks becoming the next powder-keg of the Balkans, representatives of the unofficial administration have told the Irish Government. In talks with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ms Liz O'Donnell, Kosovan representatives urged the Government to support peace moves aimed at defusing the crisis in the province. Mr Isa Zymberi, of the Democratic Alliance of Kosovo, accused the Serbian authorities of committing human rights abuses.
