A 49 year old nurse who slashed tyres outside a neighbour's house has been remanded for probation and other reports. Norah McKenna (49), of Longwood Park, Dublin 14, pleaded guilty at Rathfarnham District Court yesterday to slashing three tyres on May 2nd. She paid £120 compensation into court.
Gardai told Judge Sean Delap that surveillance had been mounted in Rathfarnham after a number of tyre slashing incidents and McKenna had been seen slashing the tyres. Garda Eamonn Cowzer said there had been a dispute between McKenna and a neighbour over noise late at night. McKenna's solicitor said her employer was aware of the situation and that counselling might be provided.
Judge Delap remanded the woman until May 28th for reports.
