The National Roads Authority (NRA) will face questions about recent closures of the Port Tunnel before an Oireachtas committee today.
NRA chief executive Fred Barry will address the Oireachtas Transport Committee on the issue today and take questions from TDs and Senators.
Ibec has warned that continuing problems with the €750 million tunnel are causing traffic gridlock which is costing businesses.
Both lanes of the tunnel were closed for several hours on February 27th after a safety systems failure.
Earlier this month the southbound lane was also shut after a tyre on a truck caught fire.
The all-party body will also receive submissions from the Railway Procurement Agency (RPA) on the construction of the Metro and progress on integrated ticketing.
The possibility of buses using the Luas lines is also due to be discussed.
