CAIRO - President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt said yesterday there was no convincing evidence so far of a radiation" leak from Israel's Dimona nuclear plant in the southern Negev desert.

"There is no strong proof, but we are continuing to investigate whether a leak from the reactor cod affect groundwater," Mr "Mubarak told a press conference. "We are looking for firm evidence while continuing to push to make the Middle East a zone free of weapons of mass destruction," he said.
