A total of 25 people have been arrested in Limerick since Friday by gardaí investigating the sale and supply of drugs.
Seven men and two women were arrested yesterday following searches at a number of properties in the city.
All nine were charged in connection with the supply of drugs and released on bail to appear before Limerick District Court on Thursday.
On Friday, 16 men and women were arrested as part of the same operation, know as Operation Kelso, which is specifically targeting the sale and supply of heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine in Limerick.
Twelve people were brought before Limerick District Court on Friday charged in connection with the sale and supply of drugs.
The arrests are the culmination of a six-month covert operation targeting both low-level dealers and main drugs suppliers.
The ongoing operation is being led by the Limerick Divisional Drugs Unit headed up by Det Sgt Alan Cullen and supported by the National Drugs Unit.
