The Narrows is a great guest-house, right on the waterfront in picturesque Portaferry, in south Co Down. In a very democratic mix of rooms which also boasts an occasional restaurant, the Brown brothers have been known to use the premises for craft fairs. This year they will be giving everyone a chance to snap up nifty pressies when they have their Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday and Sunday, December 14th and 15th.
There will be frees for sale, roast chestnuts, hand-made furniture, hand-woven fashions, hand-made jewellery, dolls and porcelain, dried flowers, flavoured oils, Dunbarra cheese and much more. £1 will gain you admission to the mulled wine and the festivities, with kids and OAPs free.
