The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission has called for an independent public inquiry into the murder of Rosemary Nelson.
Mrs Nelson, a human rights lawyer, died when a bomb exploded under her car in Lurgan three years ago.
The murder was blamed on loyalist terrorists, although nationalists alleged there was collusion with security forces in planning the attack.
The Commission said today it believed an inquiry would be the most suitable way to explore the allegations and unearth the truth about the murder.
