A new name has been added to the list of the Disappeared, IRA victims abducted, shot and secretly buried during the Troubles.

Peter Wilson (21), who had learning difficulties, disappeared from his home in the St James's area of west Belfast in 1973.

The Independent Commission for the Location of Victims' Remains has confirmed Mr Wilson's disappearance was reported to it and initial enquiries are being made.

"We can confirm that another case has been reported to the commission and we are making further enquiries as to where the remains may be located," a spokesman said.

It brings to 14 the number of people buried in unmarked graves. The IRA has admitted involvement in nine of the cases but denied the others.
