A new programme for a cultural development incentive scheme replacing the current EU tourism operational programme is to be announced this week, according to the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands.
Ms de Valera made the announcement at the weekend in Limerick when she officially opened two new galleries at the old city gallery of art on Pery Square. She said the project, which cost £1 million, was given a grant of £700,000 by the EU Operation Programme, through her Department.
