The inquiry into the loyalist paramilitary murder of Lurgan solicitor Rosemary Nelson is to be published in full on May 23rd, reports Gerry Moriarty, Northern Editor. Northern Secretary Owen Paterson said the report into her killing in an under-car bombing in 1999 would be first shown to the Nelson family. The Red Hand Defenders admitted her murder.

Meanwhile, the North’s Police Ombudsman Al Hutchinson has postponed publication of his report into police handling of the investigation of the 1994 Loughinisland massacre in which the UVF killed six men at the Heights Bar in the village. Publication was postponed until next month at the request of the families, a spokesman for the ombudsman said.
