Key aims of the National Action Plan

• Offer more effective protection and redress against racism, focusing on discrimination, threatening behaviour and incitement to hatred

• Adapt health, education, childcare and accommodation services to cater for a more multicultural society

• Promote equality of opportunity for all minority groups, especially in employment

• Build awareness of diversity through the arts, sport and at community level

• Aid full participation for minority groups in society at political and community level
