Rocker Ozzy Osbourne's wife, Sharon, says she wishes she'd never invited MTV's cameras into her home to film their fly-on-the-wall series.
The show has rejuvenated the public profile of the former Black Sabbath singer and has spawned a host of imitators and was the original celebrity "real-life" television programme.
But Sharon, who is suffering from colon cancer, has also revealed her illness has prompted her husband to start drinking again.
A second series of The Osbournes- the first is being shown in Britain on Channel 4 - begins on MTV in the United States on November 26th. The first series drew record ratings for MTV.
In an interview on ABC, she said: "This is definitely the last year. We can't do it anymore." Sharon said the show has "changed us all so much," adding that her teenage children now have lawyers and business managers.
"Because it's a moment in time, when we were innocent to it all, we went in feet first and you can't recreate that," she said.
"Yes, now, this series, people will see what the first series has done to our lives and it will take people to the next stage. But after that, it's over".
Sharon said Ozzy had begun drinking again in response to her cancer, stating: "We agreed to do the show and so the cameras are here all the time.
"So it's a little bit invasive right now and we have no privacy. You know when you're sick, you want to be on your own. I can't throw up on my own and Ozzy can't get drunk on his own".
