Morris selects starting XV to face Westmeath

Dublin boss Marty Morris today named his side to face Westmeath in Saturday's Leinster SHC preliminary semi-final.

Although his hurlers are favourites to progress, Morris stressed he will be taking nothing for granted, especially after watching the Lake County defeat Kildare 2-15 to 0-7 in the first round last Saturday.

"They are a very tidy outfit and they move the ball very ball. Their full back and centre back lines are particularly strong, and they look very solid through the middle," Morris explained.

Preparations for Dublin have been going well this season and they come into the championship off the back of an encouraging league campaign. Nevertheless, there are still some injury concerns and both Mossie McGrane and Kevin O'Donoghue are unavailable for selection.

However, the side will be boosted by the return of Shane Martin at right-half forward and Keith Wilson is named at number six. Wilson has been one of this year's form players and it is hoped his niggling knee injury gives no cause for concern.

Throw-in for is scheduled for 6.30 p.m. at Parnell Park on Saturday's evening.
