LONDON - The head and both legs were missing from the body of Kirsty Tidman (14), recovered from the Thames yesterday near Wapping, east London. The body was found at about 6.40 a.m. as Kirsty's parents were preparing to make a television appeal for help in finding their daughter, missing since May 4th.
Her cousin, Paul Pearson, who apparently killed himself after being questioned about Kirsty's disappearance, is the prime suspect in the case. He was found with his throat cut at his home in Plumstead last Friday, the day after being released on police bail.
