Belgrade - President Vojislav Kostunica of Yugoslavia has said the handover of former president Slobodan Milosevic to a war crimes tribunal was not a condition for a donors' meeting.
Mr Kostunica said a law on co-operation with the UN war crimes tribunal would clear the path to holding the conference - expected to be held on June 29th and to bring Yugoslavia $1 billion of aid. Milosevic, who was arrested by Serb authorities in April on suspicion of corruption and abuse of power, is one of the UN war crimes tribunal's most wanted men.
