Hundreds of liquid milk suppliers will stage a protest tonight in Tullamore, Co Offaly.
These producers are angry over a price cut of 6 cent per litre being imposed on the 300 suppliers to Kerry plc.
Kerry said it has been forced to drop the price it pays to its producers because of cheap imports of milk from Northern Ireland where production has doubled in the past two years.
The Irish Farmers Association said it was organising the rally in response to what it termed "the severe crisis developing in the liquid milk sector".
