The proposal by a private company to build a terminal complex at Dublin Airport was an attempt to "piggy back" on existing Aer Rianta facilities, Dublin Labour MEP Ms Bernie Malone has said.
These facilities cost the tax payers millions of pounds, she said, and the developers of the proposed terminal clearly wanted "to exploit the growth boom in Dublin Airport for private commercial gain". She hoped that the Minister far Transport, Mr Lowry, would not agree to the proposal.
