The woman charged in connection with the murder of British schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman has appeared in court via a video link.
Ms Maxine Carr (25) is charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice. She was remanded in custody for one month and is due appear at Peterborough Crown Court on September 27th. There was no application for bail by her legal team.

The former teaching assistant sat quietly waiting for the proceedings to start before answering questions via the link at Peterborough Crown Court.
Judge Nicholas Coleman reminded journalists of the provisions of contempt of court legislation and said it was in everyone's interest to ensure Ms Carr had a fair trial.
Ms Carr could be seen flanked by a prison officer as she sat in Holloway Prison, north London, where she is being held in custody pending her trial.
The decision for Ms Carr not to appear in person was made in a bid to avoid a repeat of aggressive scenes last week. A crowd of about 500 gathered outside Peterborough Magistrates Court when she made her first court appearance.
She is a former teaching assistant in Holly and Jessica's class at St Andrew's Primary School in Soham. Her partner, caretaker Mr Ian Huntley, who lived with her in Soham, is accused of the girls' murder.
Mr Huntley (28) is being held at a high security hospital under the terms of mental health legislation and has not yet appeared in court.
