Dublin Green Party city councillor Eamonn Ryan pressed his seven-month-old twins, Tom and Ino, into service as non-verbal protesters at last Sunday's official unveiling by Mary O'Rourke of her "baby" - the Luas tram - in Merrion Square. Sitting at opposite ends of a pram the twins even had their own poster - "We want a metro!" .
And their father paraded around with an illustrated placard on which he had composed a ditty complaining about the Government's transport priorities.
It read: "Mary has a little tram, it carries quite a load. But everywhere the tracks should be, Fianna Fβil will build a road."
