Gardaí have extended the period of detention of a man being questioned over the murder of Paul Quinn in Co Monaghan last year.
The man, who is in his 20s and from Cullyhanna, Co Armagh, was arrested at a wedding in Cavan town yesterday morning.
He is being questioned at Monaghan Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
His period of detention was extended by 24 hours early today.
Six people have been arrested by gardaí and another six by the PSNI in relation to the murder in which Mr Quinn (21) was beaten to death in a shed near Oram, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan in October 2007.
