An armed robber stole an unspecified sum of money from Ulster Bank in Dalkey this afternoon.
The robber threatened staff with a sawn-off shotgun at about 3.20pm before escaping with the money.
The suspect, believed to be about 5' 5" tall, was wearing a scarf around his head.
Some of the cash has already been recovered. Gardai originally believed there may have been two men involved in the robbery, but have so far made no arrests.
