A 23 year old Belfast man was recovering yesterday after being shot in the back with a home made arrow. He was walking on Flora Street in east Belfast, near a footbridge, when he felt himself being hit in the back. The incident happened about 10 p.m. on Sunday night.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The spokesman said it was believed the injuries were not serious. The RUC are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the police at Mount Pottinger RUC station in east Belfast.
