The trial of the only person to be charged in connection with the Omagh bombing began in the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today.

The morning was dominated by legal argument over the order in which the evidence in the trial would be given.

Twenty-nine people and two unborn children died and 200 were injured when the "Real IRA" bombed the town in 1998.

Mr Colm Murphy is accused of conspiring with another person to cause an explosion.
