A Dublin man appeared before Judge Aidan O'Donnell at a special sitting of Tullamore Court last night charged in connection with the previous day's bank robbery in the town.
Mr Glen Kavanagh (22), Oriel Street Upper, Dublin, was charged with the robbery of £7,000 from the Trustee Savings Bank, O`Connor Square, Tullamore, on January 13th.
The defendant was remanded in custody to appear at Tullamore District Court next Wednesday.
