A motorist killed in a road traffic incident in Kilrush, Co Clare last night has been named as Mr Michael Kelly of Cree in Clare.
Mr Kelly, 62, was killed when his car went into a ditch at about 7.15 p.m, a garda spokeswoman said.
The driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene was the only person in the car at the time and no other vehicle was involved in the incident.
