A 79 YEAR OLD man who fell off the back of a tractor into the path of another vehicle was one of three people killed in separate traffic accidents in the North over the weekend.
The elderly man was travelling on the back of the tractor at Annalong, Co Down, when he slipped and fell into the path of a car yesterday morning.
In Co Fermanagh, a man was killed when he crashed his car on the Enniskillen/Irvinestown road. No other vehicle was involved in the accident which happened at about 2 a.m. yesterday.
The victim was identified as Mr Stephen Maguire (24), from Enniskillen.
At about the same time in Crumlin, Co Antrim, a man died when his Fiat car crashed at Nutts Corner. No other vehicle was involved. His name - has not yet been released.
Meanwhile, in Galway, a 19 year old man was killed when the vehicle he was driving hit a wall and overturned at Castletown, near Gort, at about 4.40 p.m. yesterday. The victim was single.
