A 34-year-old Englishman released from Brixton prison having served sentences for sexual offences arrived in Ireland three days later to avoid the British sex offenders' register, Wicklow Circuit Court was told yesterday.
Alan Hughes Galloway, of Parkhurst Crescent, Hertfordshire, England, was sentenced to three years' imprisonment when he pleaded guilty to harassing two women and using threatening and abusive language. Judge Raymond Groarke also ordered that on his release from prison he should be deported to "from whence he came."
