A 21-year-old man received serious head injuries during an altercation between two groups of young people in Temple Bar in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
The fight broke out on Essex Street at around 3.20am.
The injured man was taken to St James’s Hospital, but has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the fight to contact them at Pearse Street Garda station on 01 666 9000, on the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or at any Garda station.
