A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Tallaght two years ago.
Robert Delany (29), was hit in the face with pellets from a shotgun blast at his home in Russel Rise on October 22nd, 2008.
The father of two has been left with no brain function in Tallaght Hospital. He has been in a permanent vegetative state in hospital since he was attacked and his family have been told he has no hope of recovery.
The attack was linked to a row in a pub a few weeks earlier.

A 20-year-old man was arrested this morning and is being held in Tallaght Garda station under the provisions of Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939.
So far, 10 people have been arrested as part of the investigation.
