A man has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent during an attack in north Belfast on New Year’s Day.
Johnathon Rossborough (29), Newtownabbey, Co Antrim, is charged with the assault on a man in his 20s at Alliance Parade in the city in the early hours of Sunday.
The man suffered serious head injuries and is in a serious but stable condition in hospital. Mr Rossborough, who appeared at Belfast Magistrates Court yesterday, was remanded in custody. He is expected to apply for bail.
Mr Rossborough will appear again by video link on January 9th.
