Frome, England - A British businessman has been arrested by detectives investigating the killing of a British schoolgirl raped and murdered on holiday in France, police said yesterday.
The 41-year-old man arrested last Friday has been granted bail while police await the results of DNA tests.
Caroline (13) was killed in July 1996 while on holiday with her school, Launceston Community College, also in the west of England. She was raped and suffocated in a shared dormitory in a hostel at Pleine Fougeres, in Brittany, western France.
