A man arrested in connection with an attack on two migrant workers in Co Derry has been released.
The victims had been at a party in the Moneydig Road in Garvagh and reported they had been assaulted. One of the men was admitted to the Causeway Hospital in Coleraine with injuries that include a broken arm.
The other was unhurt but was in a state of shock. Police said both men worked for a local company but had a limited knowledge of English. It is understood the man who was arrested is from the Garvagh area.
PSNI Detective Inspector Nick McCaw, who is in charge of the investigation, appealed for anyone who was at the party to come forward.
