Gardaí have arrested a man following a stabbing in north Dublin this morning.
The woman was reportedly walking her son to school in Drumcondra when she was attacked.
A Garda spokeswoman said the woman in her 30s was assaulted on St Anne's Road at about 8.30am.
She was taken to the nearby Mater hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A man in his 30s was later arrested. He is being held at Mountjoy Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
