A probation officer's report has been ordered by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on a Co Limerick man who admitted possession of over 4,000 ecstasy tablets last April.
George Browne (39), of St Patrick's Road, Limerick, pleaded guilty to having 4,418 tablets for sale in Castletroy on April 7th, 1995.
Told by defence counsel Mr Patrick Marrinan that the defendant had no previous convictions, Judge Michael Moriarty remanded him on bail for sentence on April 6th next.
