Warsaw - The death toll from more than two weeks of devastating flooding in Poland has risen to 52, police said yesterday. The latest victim of the deluge, described as Poland's worst natural disaster in 100 years, was a man from the southwestern town of
Klodzko who was swept away by the Nysa Klodzka river.
While lighter rains are forecast, the city of Wroclaw is bracing for another swell on the Oder river. - (AFP)
