A man charged with the murder of an Ennis teenager at a special sitting of Ennis District Court yesterday has been remanded in custody until Friday.
Mr Noel Hogan, Brewery Lane, Ennis, Co Clare, was charged that between October 21st and October 23rd, he murdered Lorraine O'Connor (19), in Ennis.
Garda Sgt Mattie Molyneux told the court Mr Hogan had nothing to say when he charged him with the offence at Abbey Street, Ennis.
Judge Joseph Mangan remanded Mr Hogan in custody at Limerick Prison until the sitting of Ennis District Court on November 2nd.
