Gardaí at Santry station are continuing to question a man arrested yesterday in connection with a large drugs seizure at Dublin Port.
The National Drugs Unit arrested the man at Dublin Airport in a follow-up operation to the seizure of drugs by Customs officials at the port.
A Garda spokesman said the 40-year-old man is an Irishman living outside the country.
He has not yet been charged.

A ‘substantial’ quantity of cannabis was found hidden in spices in a container yesterday afternoon.
It was originally thought the cannabis could be worth millions of pounds. However, a Garda spokesman said this morning the haul has turned out smaller than expected, valuing the drugs at around £100,000.
