Gardaí said they arrested a 26-year-old man in Rathfarnham this morning in connection with the investigation. He is being detained at Tallaght Garda station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.

Three men and a woman were arrested and questioned in relation to the case last February and all were released without charge.

It is believed Mr Fetherston may have been killed when he sought the return of money he had given to somebody known to him.

Gardaí do not believe he was involved in criminal activity
