A man (34) was arrested in west Dublin last night on suspicion of being involved in major drug-related feud in the city.
The man, believed to be a senior figure in the INLA, was detained at a house in Tallaght by detectives from the Special Detective Unit.
He is believed to have been under surveillance for some time and is also wanted in connection with several bomb attacks.
The man is being held at Blackrock Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and can questioned for up to three days.
