A 43-year-old man has died after a head on collision between a car and a truck in Co Galway.
Mr Michael Kenny from Ballintemple, Castlegar, Co Galway was a local publican.
The crash happened at 8.30 a.m. on the Botharnadtreadh Road, a link road between the Tuam and Headford roads.
The man died at the scene and a female passenger in his car is being treated at University College Hospital in Galway for facial injuries. The driver of the truck was shaken but otherwise uninjured.
