A man has appeared before a court in Dublin in connection with the death of 60-year-old Dennis Brennan, who was found dead in his apartment last week.
Michael Byrne (39) with an address at 57 Clonard Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12, was charged with the murder of Mr Brennan on or between Saturday, July 5th, and Tuesday, July 8th.
He was remanded in prison to appear again before Cloverhill Courthouse on Friday.
Mr Brennan, a separated father of three, was found dead in his apartment at Bow Bridge, Kilmainham, Dublin, on Tuesday morning.

His remains were found in the living room area of his home when a friend who could not contact him for several days called to check on him.
