A 36-year-old man has died in a car crash in Northern Ireland.
Police said the crash happened on the Ardglass Road in Downpatrick last night. The dead man was named by police today as Michael Molloy from Downpatrick.
A woman and three children, aged 6, 4 and one year, were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, a spokeswoman for the PSNI said.
A 35-year-old man has be arrested and is helping police with their inquiries.
Police in Downpatrick are seeking witnesses to the collision.
In Dublin, gardai today named the woman who died in a crash on September 1st as 36-year-old Denise Goode of Glencarraig, Sutton, Dublin.
An elderly man who died in hospital following a crash earlier this was named last night as 77-year-old Michael Henry, of Carrowcrory, Ballinafad, Co Sligo.
