A 33-year-old man died in a crash in Co Leitrim last night.
John Mee of Mohill died when his motorbike was in collision with an SUV on the main Carrick-On-Shannon to Mohill Road at 8.50pm.
The dead man was taken to Sligo General Hospital where a post mortem was due to be carried out today.
The R201 was closed following the crash but is now open following a technical examination by Garda crash scene investigators.
Meanwhile gardaí have named the victims of separate crashes in Dublin and Cork in the past week.
The victim of a two-car collision in Cork yesterday was today named as 16-year-old Kevin Walsh of Kilclare Upper, Conna, Fermoy.
The crash at Cornglass, Conna, Mallow took place at 6.30pm. The victim was a passenger in one of the vehicles.
Gardaí in Blanchardstown also named the female cyclist killed on Wednesday last week, on the Nephin Road in Dublin 7, as Maureen Martin (51) from the Navan Road, Dublin 7.
Ms Martin was fatally injured when she collided with a truck at around midday.
